It depends. Check each event’s details to see whether it is ticketed and/or has a cost to attend. Most live music events are free to attend.

Yes! Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged in the turf and surrounding area during live music events. 

Downtown District parking options include FREE 15 minute, 2 hour, 3 hour, and 24 hour (overnight) parking. Free parking is also available in certain shared business lots including Viking Pump. To view downtown parking maps, click here

No, we ask that you refrain from bringing in outside food and beverage to Plaza events. Concession sales help us keep events free, and you’re helping support Downtown businesses. 

If an event has a street closure, beer and wine may be purchased at immediately adjacent bars and restaurants and consumed in the Plaza within the street closure barricades. Immediately adjacent bars and restaurants include Urban Pie, Hurts Donuts, Second State Brewing, and Cypress Lounge.  Liquor cannot be consumed within the street closure barricades and must remain at the bar in which it was purchased.

Yes, you must purchase River Place Plaza tokens at the Beverage Token tent, which are then redeemable for beer, wine and N/A beverages at the Beverage tent.  

You will be required to show proof of ID to receive a wristband (21 and older) to redeem beverage tokens for beer and wine. 

Other food vendors may sell non-alcoholic beverages, which do not require a token (cash/credit). 

Liveto9 events have their own beverage token, purchased separately for Liveto9 events.

River Place Plaza tokens never expire and can be redeemed at future events hosted by Eagle View Hospitality (programmer of the River Place Plaza). Events hosted by other organizations (for example, Liveto9) may have their own beverage token or process 

No. We can only accept cash at the Beverage Token tent. An ATM is on-site for your convenience. Other food vendors may accept credit/debit. 

Events that are cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled if possible. We will announce event cancellations and event reschedules via Facebook (@riverplacecedarfalls) and our website calendar. 

In the event of chance of rain or storms on the date of your scheduled event, Eagle View Hospitality will work with the Responsible Party to find a replacement date with no penalty (subject to availability). For events cancelled due to weather, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
