POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

Special Statement: We've made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's Bands & Brews due to the weather.

The current rain and winds are impacting our ability to safely set up the event, and the safety of attendees, vendors, volunteers, bands and brewers must come first.

We're exploring options to reschedule the event and will share updates on our Facebook page and on our website as they become available.

Ticket holders will be contacted regarding refunds within the next few days.

Support Iowa Public Radio! Bands & Brews returns to the River Place Plaza on Friday, June 19 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM for an evening of Iowa craft beer, live music, and community support.

In partnership with Second State Brewing, Iowa Public Radio, and the River Place Plaza, you can enjoy free live performances by Run Dog and Ben Rendall Band while sampling beers from more than 10 Iowa breweries. Beer tasting tickets are $25 per person and include access to the tasting area from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, samples from participating breweries, and a commemorative pint glass.

Wether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun night out downtown, Bands & Brews offers a great way to celebrate local breweries with supporting Iowa Public Radio.
